A Woman's World

In “A Woman’s World”, Laura begins to explore the stories of women, examining both how they’ve been told throughout history and how they have shaped the progress of history. From Cleopatra, to Katherine Howard, to Captain Marvel, she looks at how the stories of individual women are also the stories of all women.

Laura firmly believes that learning the stories and histories of women is crucial to empowering the modern day woman and moving forward as a culture. She is delighted to share the poems in this collection, and hopes it will only be the first of many such works.

This collection contains 13 distinct poems and will be available as an eBook from February 13th, 2020.

Amidst the Ash

Amidst the Ash is my debut book and poetry collection. The poetry was written over 2017 and 2018, and follows me through some of the highs and lows of a year struggling with, and adjusting to, life with multiple chronic illnesses.

It is my hope that these poems will help my readers as they helped me: to express their pain and their joy, and to know that they are not alone.
